Self-pay clients can begin services without waiting on insurance authorization or waiver enrollment. This is often the most flexible option in terms of scheduling and scope of services.

HSA/FSA reimbursement is decided by the account administrator based on documented medical necessity. It is a separate pathway from commercial insurance ABA benefits. LocusBx does not guarantee reimbursement or insurance coverage, and LocusBx cannot make medical necessity determinations on the provider's behalf. The patient's prescribing or treating healthcare provider (physician, psychologist, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant), not LocusBx, must determine and attest to medical necessity. LocusBx's role is providing the behavior services described, not certifying eligibility.
